Description
Despite the significant challenges the courts (mostly) kept functioning during COVID-19 and produced some important decisions relevant to criminal practice. This session touches on those and the tenacity of justice to keep moving forward. Keeping up to date with recent developments in the practice of criminal law is an essential part of effective advocacy. In this session delegates are given an overview of some of the more significant cases to drop from the Judicial Tree of Knowledge, noting they often relate to bad apples. This session was delivered as part of the Criminal Law Conference 2021.
