The Australian Registrars’ National Electronic Conveyancing Council (ARNECC) is pleased to announce that the eConveyancing Interoperability timetable and other amendments are now published in the Model Operating Requirements (MOR) Version 7 – see Model Operating Requirements – ARNECC.

Related amendments have also been made to the Model Participation Rules that apply to Subscribers to Electronic Lodgment Networks – see Model Participation Rules – ARNECC.

ARNECC extends its gratitude to all stakeholders that have contributed to this work. Feedback Tables detailing the actions taken by ARNECC in response to industry feedback are also available on the ARNECC website.

Each Australian State and Territory will now proceed to implement jurisdiction-specific Operating Requirements and Participation Rules, to take effect on and from 28 March 2024.

In due course, ARNECC will review and publish updated Guidance Notes to reflect the new changes and assist Electronic Lodgment Network Operators and Subscribers to understand their obligations. Please continue to monitor the ARNECC website for further developments.
