About Committee Meetings

Committees usually meet monthly or bimonthly in accordance with a Committee Meeting Schedule which is settled at the beginning of each calendar year. As an example, see the Schedule of Committee Meetings 2024.

On average, Committee workload requires a commitment of one day per month. Committee members are expected to attend most meetings; read agenda papers; contribute to discussion at meetings; undertake research from time to time; and prepare submissions and correspondence.

The Society Committee Charter provides information on committee processes and member responsibilities.
