About the Presenter:
The Honourable Justice Michael Brett was appointed as a judge of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in July 2016. Justice Brett commenced working in Queensland as a solicitor in 1980 and then as a barrister. After relocating to Tasmania in 1993 he practised as a legal practitioner in a private firm and then practised at the independent bar until his appointment as a magistrate.
